I was asked if I could make some high visibility vests for the Kindy kids, for sure.

I was supplied a pattern (which I ended up re drafting) and some high visibility material. Now, I am no hemmer, so thankfully I have my trusty little bias tape maker and a 20¢ brown fitted sheet.

.. And hey presto I have meters and meters of bias tape to go around the raw edges of the vest. I even brought the big guns out (over locker).

I managed to get out five vests over a couple of nights. I must admit, I am pretty good at attaching the bias tape when I pay attention 🙂

I am going to use this pattern again to make a horse riding outfit for my little girl and maybe a cowboy outfit for the boy – if he will wear it.
